Now a pannier is nice granted but a West Country is a step up :) .
I’m another in the Chris and Rob club who admires your modelling and therefore can’t but help admire a pannier.
Cheers

The only highlight of a brief sojourn in the Metropolis were the Thompson A2/3's at KX. Go west young man, said the poster, and I wasn't disappointed. No one else had anything resembling a Pannier or a 14xx 0-4-2T. Where I lived, all LMS locos looked alike... :))

That 16xx looks a treat. I have mentioned it to my friend Brian Brown, who was Westward back in the day. I only hope Dapol produce one in O gauge someday.

P4 panniers this time, on 'Parkend Marsh Sidings', currently under construction by John Farmer.

1608 is another Cotswold kit, the body built by no less than Malcolm Mitchell, which John picked up second hand a while ago. He had the chassis commissioned, using Alan Gibson modified 64Xx milled side frames.

5420 is mine and originated as a Westward kit, although this also features Alan Gibson milled side frames.

5420 was shedded at Lydney for a time, to work the school services between Lydney and Sharpness (via Gloucester), following the damage to the Severn Bridge 1960. It probably wouldn't have been seen further up the Severn & Wye system, but one can speculate!
