I wonder is the S7 layouts would run some 3rd party locos..

It's something we need to be wary of at a show. There are still too many nay sayers with regards Scale7, and I don't think we can take the added risk of running untested stock in front of such a critical audience. Maybe later in the afternoon if it's quiet we could pop something on? JB2?

It’s not like one doesn’t get the odd “off” on FS...

Of course Simon, I couldn't agree more.

I think if that happens with O Fs then it's kinda brushed off, however I personally believe there are many who will be waiting for a single axle to pop off the rails, and shouting from the top of the Shropshire hills that Scale7 doesn't work.

We are still trying to be accepted and included into the 7mm hobby. We are still in the phase of proving Scale7 'can' work well. Love Lane is more than aware that we are at the forefront of trying to changes people's perceptions at the end of August in a little town, west of Birmingham.

I think you may be being a bit over sensitive.
All model railways have little hiccoughs from time to time - mine certainly do.
Those of us who have seen Love Lane and who were instrumental in getting it invited to Telford know how good it is.
It will probably do the S7 cause much more good if someone turns up with an S7 loco and you welcome them with open arms, and encourage them to run - if only in the storage sidings.

John, you make a very good point, and of course storage yards would be fine.

We do have a lot of trains with too little storage space but we may be able to find a slot somewhere to run an engine for a few yards out back. Perhaps during a shunting segment in the scenic section. I think David Rayner would be the one to check with though.

Its ok, I have a blue grey class 101 that I fancied seeing running through Love Lane but there will be other opportunities.
