Morning all.

Not much in the way of progress, I'm afraid.

Lambstone is now wired and a few 'test'services have been run.

Things will now go on hold whilst I attend to a few jobs on Mutton ahead of Taunton Railex at the end of the month. It's mainly detailing a bit of stock but there are a few scenic matters to attend to.

Updates will of course follow but here is a view or two of Lambstone in 'test' mode.

The monkeys are courtesy of No.1 daughter who felt that the backscene was lacking.......

Stubby's monorail was quite something mind you.

To be honest I wouldn't mind a layout set in India, Fawltey.

What a wonderful piece of modelling, so simple, yet beautifully observed it really takes me there.

Well said Geoff. I'm taken back to a very hot sunny summers day with nothing much happening. A brilliant photo. Well done Rob. I hope I can get some of that atmosphere on Blakeney.

Thank you for the kind words. It is the adding of the little details that really can make s layout. The sign is a lovely etched item which is a little blighter to paint but really repays time spent.

Once Mutton's appearance at Taunton is sorted, I will start adding the details to Bleat Wharf ahead of it's appearance at the S&DJRT Edington show in January. Then it will be full steam ahead for Lambstone 's debut at the RMweb show in April...............

Thanks again.

Rob
