Hi Jamie,

Auchlin was on the circuit for about 10 years but it last was out at the SECC 8 years ago. since then it has been a home layout in the loft and used only for testing. There are plans for another but not got round to it yet, too busy building locos!.

They'd look even better with a bit of heavy weathering... ;)

Hi JB,

I agree! The 4-6-0 is lightly weathered and all my new stuff gets at least a light dusting. However the Dunalistair was built some time ago and I just haven't got round to it yet. one day!

Heres one of my BR period locos, is this better?

I have to admit though, my personal favourite was the red loco on the last page of the article in the guild magazine recently..

So elegant!

Hello and welcome!

Again, if you are who I think you are, it was good to meet you and your son at Telford (I was the one with the stripy class 37).

Hi Pugsley,

Sorry to take so long to reply but I have been occupied with helping to set up and run a fairly big Real ale festival in Troon. We sold over 10,000 pints over three days, I drank one or two, and there was a lot of preperation and clearing up. Today was a restful day with a wee bit modelling. Now catching up!

Yes we did meet briefly at Telford. Ken got commended for his nuclear flask wagons and he is now building a 37 to pull them along with a few barrier wagons also under construction. I rather think his 37 will end up in DRS livery.

No problem - good to meet you (Martin is the name I go by in the real world :) )

Do you think you could persuade Ken to sign up? I'd like to see those under construction.
