Now the weathering begins, the White blob is PVA, I made a small indentation in the sand and filled it, once dry il give it a few coats of clear gloss nail varnish. Weathering powders next, this will highlight the areas with talc

PITS!!!!! Cut them out today with a jig saw, il clean the sides up tomorrow with some hefty files and a nice sharp hand saw.

I've cut the MDF for the concrete hard stand, il prime this with £ shop grey paint then paint it with rail match weathered concrete grey. I need to clean the pit sides up a little then I will glue it down & 5043 basking in the early morning winter sun

Whilst flicking through BRILL mags I came across this
Might help with some roof or peripheral details, especially the courtyard which looks like it is accessed through the buildings to the lower facing side.
This is a WWII photo, but no idea if RAF or Luftwaffe and I've cropped just one small corner.
