image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg I've been adding the used sleepers this morning fresh off Phils laser cutter and I think you'll all agree they look great. A few coats of stain later and a waft of black spray then weathering
Cheers Phil of Intentio Designs. He also supplies the normal cut sleepers as well.

It's from a Mitchell kit Mark, built a few years ago. It's a lovely model. It's Rob's loco the guy who had the 47xx with us at last years Newport O gauge show

Just a note to let you all know I'm going to add semi out door extensions either side of the Railway room, they're not that big just enough to take a DMU. I really want to be able to run things back and forth in front of the layout. I've been toying with the idea for a while.
Parcels railcars in the form of GW Flying Bananas and 128's. 121 & 117 passenger DMU's
This adds more operational interest. There will be a bit of wrong line running but that doesn't bother me too much.
I keep going on the easy build web site and Pete has a few on Leamington and they are very good especially with sound on board.
I won't start construction any time soon, maybe in the summer if I can manage it, there's a few more pressing projects to do in the garden first.

Bravo,

There's a distinct lack of 'large' scenery in O gauge, probably due to their size but they certainly add impact. It's a shame the smaller one almost totally obscures the turntable.

Your right, I always knew the turn table would be partially obscured but that's the prototype. To think how long I spent trying to find out what the little signs on the table said!!!
At least I know they are there.

Actually the houses are not as tall as the Large stores, but they will dominate the back drop. Il order some more foam board and knock a few of the tenements up so we can see how they'll look.
This layout is all about the buildings really.
Every time I go in to the railway room the size of it still shock's me
