The trains will have about thirty wagons in them I'm also experimenting with scribing plaster for the viaduct I'll show some photos in due course (I must take those screws out );)
I should say that the beames has no real place on the layout as it's based in the late 50s early 60s but it seems a few of these did make it into BR .So ,,,,,,, maybe one was taken out of storage

Hi I'm just showing this photo as I think that it shows just how long these engines really were which probably led to their rather poor reputation although I'm sure I've read somewhere that some of the crews liked them

She's coming along really nicely. Have you got the chassis motorised yet (I can't remember), and if so what motor have you used?

Hi I picked up the boiler castings yesterday .I thought that the hole in the chimney looked to small so I've made it deeper and bigger sorry it's not a great photo I think that maybe the rim still looks to thick comments welcome

With the setting sun reflecting on its boiler Beames 0-8-4 T hauls a heavy train of P.O wagons on the LNWR Mail line ;)

Hi it was the 2mm Expo yesterday and I and I passed over my hard earned for a Princes Royal kit by Nigel Hunt ive also managed to locate two 2mm Brassmasters G2 0-8-0 kits so plenty to get on with but first on with the Beames

Congratulations - I managed to get down to the Expo for an hour as well - The Princess and the rest of Nigel's locos looked very nice, as did the rest of the show.
