Suitable fillers for JLTRT resin mouldings

I use Milliput white for most filling work... and I am cautious about using this product with the mouldings of my JLTRT Western because:-

* the Milliput dries harder than the resin and that can lead to hollows around the edge of the filler where the wet and dry (used wet) removes the resin quicker / easier then the Milliput;

* the colour of the white Milliput is similar to the colour of the resin that JLTRT uses for the cab and side mouldings hence not easy, sometimes, to see how the filling / smoothing is progressing.

Heather (@Heather Kay) has recommended green Squadron Putty and the results are there to be seen. Warren (@warren haywood) has recommended Soudal Celluplast and who am I to ignore such advice.

So, just checking, what do you use and why?

As an ancillary, if you use something other than celluplast, how does your choice stand up to being sprayed with cellulose paint?

thank you, Graham

And I have used superglue and bicarbonate of soda.

Make a puddle of superglue where you want to fill. Sprinkle on the bicarbonate of soda which will catalyse the superglue.

Rub down.

I use Holts Knifing Putty, which is a useful grey colour.

If seeing how the sanding is progressing is the problem, why not buy an aerosol of cheap, dark, paint, and dust that on as a guide coat.

I have also used the same product for years. It sands very easily to an extremely smooth finish.
I have just used it on my JLTRT Hymek cabs to fill the redundant headboard bracket holes.
You can just make out the grey filled holes just above the headcode box.
