Truthfully though, I totally forgot, though you'd think my wife's birthday on 2nd June might have given my brain cells a prod. Luckily, I didn't forget that.
Thanks - again some beautifully observed modelling. That last photo just needs a little weathering on the road vehicles and it would be a cracking shot.
I promise to try harder next time, but that snapshot was just purely that..... just wait until the council come along with their posts and signs, and if I speak to them nicely, they may even soften the tyres on the road vehicles too!
Please don't get me wrong I think it's a great photo with plenty of urban atmosphere. It's just that all the other photos have a very consistent standard of modelling so no one item looks out of place, and then here we have a spotless Reliant right in centre of attention (golden 1/3rds) - at least you avoided the Trotters Trading cliche.
Going back to the July update (was on holiday, so waited to see August update together), will you be putting the wooden boards up in front of the tube station entrance while it's being worked on ?, plus the posters for gigs ?
That sounds like a good idea, especially as I don't know how long the contractors are going to take building it. There are quite a few fly postings around other areas, and I've got a few left over. It's seemed like a hectic few weeks, and although there were lots of additional pics taken at Hornsey by Paul James, I just didn't find time to process them for the update.....
