Crikey! That makes my backlog of projects look manageable... Keep up the good work.

Thanks Adam. I must admit once I have the wagons built I will start to think about a layout to run them on. I have an idea of what type and size of layout I want after reading cameo layouts by Mr Rice now all I have to do is build it.

Thought this wagon would be a quick one with just a wheel set change how wrong could I have been!!!!! Tried to fit wheels but just dug in to the plastic pinpoint. Drilled out and fitted brass bearings but still too tight so decided to fit Masokits W iron spring units and all the other replacement parts. Not so quick after all.

Just coming to the end of these 2 wagons just got to chemical black and paint. I removed the woolway transfer as the black plastic look just didn't look right so will now be painted black and POW transfers fitted. The next project will be finishing a Finney hall purchased from a Mr R of this parish.

I wasn't happy with the woolway transfers and the black plastic finish so decided to remove them (which was quite easy). So the following photos shows the wagon primed and with the first couple of black coats applied. Just got to order POW transfers. Wire safety loop has since been straightened and glued.
