I hope you have a good show with plenty of interest. I do like the smaller local shows with a few little gems. It's grassroots modelling! Unfortunately just a little outside my local area.

Morning Adrian.

I am very much of the same opinion. I much prefer the smaller show myself. This will be the fourth year for me at what is my local show.

It's more of a social than an exhibition and we have our 'regulars' , some of whom travel considerable distance to attend.

It normally starts the year off, exhibition wise but next year Bleat is at the S&DJRT show at Edington on the 4th/5th Jan.

It seems an age since I posted hereon......nearly three months.

Bleat Wharf has attended two exhibitions in that time and Mutton is approaching it's next appearance at Yate on Feb. 1st.

Preparations to Mutton include a replacement fiddle yard to the Lamb Regis end. This was due to some issues with the points in the fiddle yard. When I say replacement, I simply bought a new TV table for £9 and transferred everything over. Job done.
Just need to clean the wheels of the Radials and we should be good to go..........mmmmm...........What have I forgotten.......?!

Well, the Yate Show seemed to go well with Mutton being well received. A golden moment came with a nice chap loudly exclaiming Mutton to be a 'proper Western layout...........Sarf Western!'...which did make me smile in the midst of the other Western 's territory.......although Yate was actually a Midland station so I felt quite at home.

Thoughts are now turning to the next chapter of the Sheep Chronicles which is due to be exhibited at the end of April. Best get it started then.........
