London's Swinging Sixties

I just picked up a pointer to this video on uk.railway on Usenet.

Diesels, electrics and a wee bit of steam around London in the early 1960s with a sound track featuring Kenny Everett on Radio London - and some hydraulics in there. :)

The first view of a western is on a blue pullman replacement with the later cravens as well as some original Pullmans.

If this link has worked look out for the turn table lake at about 13 min.

One other thing to look out for is the amount of tenders with the goal post warning signs on them.

Edit: turntable lake at 13:17

Two others with a sort of Western theme.
Warships (only 43s, no 42s) and others on the Marylebone -Wembley line (1967 colour) and mono steam on the Amersham route.
Steam around Chester (more LMS than GWR).

And one of a non-western nationwide theme
This was originally just a vehicle for a 1964 Pick of The Pops soundtrack home DVD.

Have had to slowly over-rite some with newer versions, as the vintage radio unfortunately included some Jimmy Saville on Luxembourg in the 60s, not too PC now days.
