An ex serviceman who happens to be a very good friend of mine, is going through a tough time at the moment, both personally and financially. He came to the Warley club with Mrs PT and I last night to have a go on the S7 lay out.

He really enjoyed it and it certainly lifted his spirits, so I have bought him a Dapol 08 shunter and will be taking it with me on Saturday to get the wheels changed to Scale 7. He is over the moon with the loco.

John,

Will he need rolling stock? I've got a pile of partially completed Slaters wagon kits all with S7 wheels and Exactoscale springing, taking up much needed space on a shelf. He can have them. Mostly Midland prototypes so you'll need to paint the 08 in early BR. :)

Jim.

PS. I just remembered I had pictures of them - attached here.

Hi Jim.

Yes please, how much do you want for them and how is the best way to pay?

John :)
