A day out on the Vale of Rheidol

One of my favourite YouTube channels is called Hubnut. A fellow called Ian Seabrook, currently living in mid-Wales, has fun with all kinds of odd vehicles. The Hubnut fleet currently includes a Reliant Fox, an Invacar, a 2CV called Elly, and numerous other waifs and strays.

For a change from belting about Welsh roads in Elly, and driving other people's odds and ends, Ian spent a day on the VoR, which also happens to pass his house.

Enjoy a cab ride on the loco, some explanation of how it all works from the crew, and scenes around the Aberystwyth terminus.

Twc is off on an 800 mile adventure over the coming week. It’ll be interesting to see if she makes it through.

I have to say when the Fox's engine finally fired into life I literally jumped around the room!
