A useful item that might be going spare in your kitchen?

Whilst in our kitchen area at work I noticed a couple of items which I thought would be useful that were going spare - they are designed for keeping eggs in in refrigerators but because we just use the work fridges for milk and occasionally someones lunch they had been cast aside on a windowsill.

The plan is to cut a thick plasticard base and plastic weld it to them.

So, by WT standards, the finish that is left is worth £600?

sounds like you have a lot of money to spend on your kitchen table if half the price is £600, then some people say that a kit cost a lot of money at £400.

Must go and see the bank manager tomorrow and see what he has to say about my last £M .

Hi Rob,

SNAP - we have just taken delivery of a new fridge/freezer and the first thing that Judy said when it was installed was - "you can have the egg holder for the workshop" - just need to clear the workbench to make good use of it:thumbs:

cheers

As regards Mek-Pak and similar: Blu-Tack and it's many copies make excellent bottle stabilisers, just roll out a thick sausage of the stuff, wrap round the base of the bottle and mould to shape.
When placing the bottle, give the stuff a little press down and you'll never knock it over again.
