Does anyone know who they are and are they still in buisness about 2 years ago I picked up a little number on Flea bay and the origins of the kit where unknown it has an Aluminium Extrusion for the body (ALA Westdale) a compressed paper (mock wood) floor pan, and very flimsy white metal side frames for bogies. I have measured the lenth of the vehicle and it seems to correspond to 42ft the only identifiying labels are Cavalier Coaches on the bogie side frames. I am assembling it at the moment but am not happy with the rather flumsy construction so i have grafted on bits of Big Big coaches in places where they cannot be seen, but I am at a total loss as to the underframe detail as there are no plans that have come with the kit.

They belong to a certain gentleman in Poole who takes delight in buying companies and sheds and takes out the w/metal casting side of their businesses' to continue, so you can get all the mouldings /castings but not the etchings . He bought them from the receiver of RJH .He has become the proud owner of quite a few sheds over the years including a nice range of steam break down cranes AKA Adrian Swain. ABS. best of luck trying to get him to open one of his sheds ...

Adrian is [hopefully] recovering after a long period of serious illness, but still has other health issues to contend with. I'm sure we ALL wish him the very best for a full recovery in the longer term. I don't know if he is still a member of WT, but he was anyway and so may be reading these posts. I'm sure his recent fight to stay alive might have figured higher in his priorities than the re-release of Cavalier Coaches.
