That could be really useful - if it works. I've been warned away from similar products in the past but no doubt techniques improve over time. If it really works how about using it to short out loco wheels for split axles rather than drill for the wire ends to be soldered in and grooving a spoke or two to take the wires?

We'd obviously need to have confidence about the longevity of the coating and potential power management and resistance issues.
