Hi All

Rather that hogging Steve Cook's thread I thought it best to create a new one.

So here's a few photos taken during a recent get together, all the local G1 groups were invited for the day.
Excellent weather and a good day was had by all.

There is a Big Boy over in the corner but it was unable to be run because of gauging problems through the points.

I believe that is a RC class 66 Diesel on a rake of scratch built p-way wagons. The steaming bays are on the right.

Here's the steaming area with an Aster 9f and a Barrett class 47xx with a midland compound on the back road. In the background I can now see that it is a class 66 Diesel.

I shall add a couple of You Tube videos when I've uploaded the videos to my home page and then I add a link.

First of the You Tube Videos, just remember these were taken on an ipad mini II as I forgot to pack my DSLR.

The wagons in this video belong to the Tenmille proprietor who was there on the day and said all the wagons were all wood and painted by his father. So it had to worth a video.

He told me he has 50 of theses but only brought about half of them on the day. The loco is a John Barrett designed GWR Hall class heavily weathered to represent the end of steam days.

This one just to prove it's live steam!

All the best
Dave

Cheers Dave :)
Thats a good length run although I can't say I'm a fan of the 'my first trainset tunnel' :D
Impressive to see the wagon rake too.
