Hi Heather,
That rake of carriages seems to be very familiar... seen running through Hartley Hill some time last year.

Hi John,

Sorry I haven't done much research on them yet - this is the kit

A quick Google has turned up some drawings over on a thread on RM Web Here

I have left the kit up at the cottage when I go up at Easter I will bring it back and take some photo's of what you get in the box.

Hi I've just been. Talking to Graham if its of interest to anyone the effect of metal along the metal strip along the top of the wagon was done with a carpenters pencil although any pencil will do it just makes it look like bare metal

I managed to poke my camera through the fence earlier.

I also thought I'd posted these earlier, but it seems I prepared the post and neglected to press the right button.

I hope everyone will agree, John's modelling is superb. The wagon interior details are spot on, in my opinion.

These were the first wagons that I built on my return to model railways a few years ago I know that there are quite a few details that could be added but they were virtually built out of the box . I don't have a great knowledge of railways and to be honest like I've said before I just like playing trains but thank you for your comments

Very nice indeed John and from a proper pit as well I see ( ducks for cover just in case Tony reads this ). Rob is right in relation to the side knees. They are the vertical iron works that are at each side of the side doors and are the same as the end door knees which are again the vertical iron works at the end. The prototype ones were robust bits of kit and are tappered, thickening towards the bottom. A minor detail which doesn't detract from the overall beauty of your models. Don't look too close at mine as you will see my side knees are just like yours :)) Something which I will rectify on future builds.
