Hello, I'm new to the forum and thought I would give you a small introduction. I recently bought an exhibition layout from a member of this forum so I thought I would join and showcase its progression as time goes on. I currently model the southern region but I have interests in the western region, specifically Padstow in Cornwall as I know that area well.

Thanks, Rory.

Hello Rory, welcome to the Forums. I'm looking forward to seeing some photos of your layouts progression.

Welcome to WT and which layout have you purchased?

regards, Graham

Well, Its a 9ft long terminus layout built by Paul, who sold the layout to fund his upcoming projects such as the cameo competition. However the layout hasn't been shared on any forums so you won't have seen it before.

Well.... I signed up to the forum about a week ago so I'd better introduce myself. Name is Earl King and I have been moedlling railways for over 45 years. I started out with the good old Triang and progressed to early Hornby (remember super 4 track and system 6?)! Over the years I have modelled in OO, OO9, OON3 (three foot narrow gauge using TT items of stock and locos but with 4mm scale cabs put on the locos and adapted OO items such as slaters coach sides etc), 7mm narrow gauge and O gauge. I am actively modelling O and OO with an O gauge industrial shunting layout in the shed (which I have half built) and also modelling OO with my club - the All Rounders MRC. I enjoy building kits (you have to in O gauge) and I still have several old OO Ks' loco kits which either need rebuilding or assembled. I have put my forum name down as Lightman as I like the light railway/anything goes type of railway! Just to say, I am not a rivit counter! Cheers, and Happy Modelling to everyone!
