Help with photos

Please can someone tell me how to get photos on here the right way up. Even if I rotate them before uploading they always come out upside down.

Thanks

Are you by any chance using an iPhone or iPad to take the photos?

I believe that you can avoid this problem by always keeping an iPhone or iPad 'Home' button at the bottom when in portrait mode or on the right hand side in landscape mode.

I had this problem and solved it by opening the picture in 'paint' on my computer, rotating it and then resaving it. This seemed to make the rotation more permanent and the pictures were then movable without them reverting to their original orientation .

I used to have the problem all the time on the iPhone. I sort of got round it by rotating the photo a few times before posting. Then I got into sending the photo to my Mac and posting from there with no problem. Since the last major update to the iPhone a few months back, I don't have the problem now. (Quickly touching wood )

Thanks guys. Problem is I'm using a kindle, I don't possess an iPad or iphone or Mac computer. Someone called Adrian rotated the photo I posted when I joined, but I don't know how or who he is!

Is it a Kindle fire or similar? I don't have one myself but it appears that you can edit photos and rotate them on the kindle - try this guide for some help.

That'll be me! I'm generally just messing about with the software to keep the forum ticking along.
