Here is 7796 all finished and, I would have loaded it's mate but, I've mislaid it's wheels . I thought that there was a better picture of the prototype here but can't see it at the moment. In that picture the bolts that hold the side planks are visible as is the draw hook linkage. It's possible to see a small link and so, I've interpreted this as a 5 link coupling and have shown this on the model. It's thought that by others more in the know than myself that the brake rack only had a parking place for the lever in the off position with no means of locking the brake on, this can be seen in one of the end on shots. When the new wheels arrive, I'll post a picture of both wagons.

I managed to pick up two 7mm versions at GuildEx this weekend. I will have to make up some strapping as it doesn't come with any but they did come with wheels.
I will post pictures as I build them.

Just finished the bodies of the 7mm versions. Very easy to put together but in like the G3 version there is no strapping. I'm going to have to source some cosmetic rivets. Some of the parts were a little fragile and the half cut lines went all the way through in some cases. The coupling hooks were a little chunky but for £25 including wheels not bad.

I might just have a look at the 7mm kit

Not sure MDF is the correct medium for some of the parts in 7mm as it's just too fragile. The axle-boxes fell apart as I drilled them out to fit the brass bearings so I replaced them with the 3D printed ones from my own 7mm LBSCR wagon kits. The coupling hooks and the brake ratchets were also swapped out for brass ones. Once I had raided the spare strapping box, fitted the rivets and replaced the axle-boxes they don't look bad. Not sure you could call them kits more an aid to scratch building.

Hi Marc
If you haven’t already got some rivets take a look at my posts 12 & 14 in the 1/32 section under Python/Siphon C there is a photo of 1mm and 1.5mm nylon rivets plus costs.

Which scale have we drifted into here? For 1/32" brass rivets, try 'Items mail Order' on 01427 848880, I use their's for all of my builds.

Hi Dave,
I got my rivets from EDM. The strapping came from a spare NBR dropside wagon etch. I now have some transfers from POWsides that I need to add.
