Thanks for the info.Itll be interesting to see if the model makers make a stab at the hundreds of brickfields ,small ephemeral kilns and Market Gardens that were a feature of Londons periphery prior to the development of railways................. and maybe some 1:1500 scale Cholera bacterium would give the work an additional stamp of authenticity........................................Wishing the project well etc etc ........................................ ................BW

As a former architectural modelmaker, I dreaded models around this scale. It essentially meant repetitive boredom for several weeks, cutting, painting and sticking monopoly sized buildings on a flat baseboard.

Whereas a nice 1:50 would be a joy to work on.

It's a good job they are doing it for love and not the money.
