A few of us once discussed if it would be possible to bring the MIGO pages over here to WT as an archive type section. It only ever got as far as wishful thinking although Simon V is a member here so I don't know how difficult a proposition it would be?

Thesnapper, do you still have the images posted to the thread? or access to the MIGO Forum? I can save the images and probably copy the text. Shall I do so and put it on this thread? There is also another thread where someone has made a new pcb that utilises the original Heljan Wiring, I can copy that across too?

Sorry, not at all related to the OP but I was reading loads of posts on MIGO over the last few days - really interesting stuff and it's a shame it's died off.
My ears pricked up when I read that DJP was planning to produce a Class 25 - is this still the case? If so, it wouldn't take too much to backdate it to a 24. I'll have two of those please!

I was never a member myself but I fail to see how the subject of this forum can be a failure, unless the owner has interests elsewhere or it is too time consuming?

I assure you mate it didn't fold due to lack of interest just to many disagreements. I was a member of MIGO for 3 years and decided that enough was enough. I used to love looking through the galleries at some of the wonderful stuff on there one of my favourites being the class 87 with the motors in the bogies and not protruding into the locomotive at all. it was good while it lasted.

That's a shame. With so many different people you are bound to have conflicts, especially if you don't actually 'meet' the people you're chatting to. Far better to have a bit of fun with these things, like the blue/green banter or steam/diesel.
Oh well, let's hope all the good info and galleries over there can be brought into this place or preserved some other way.
