Here a few photos I snapped of MR's at Butterley and Haverthwaite more than a few years ago....

Apparently there is someone (apart from me) thinking of a G3 version.

Part 2.

I did measure up the Butterley one (MR 1930?) but my sketches haven't scanned too well so I will have to re-draw and try again later.

There might be a few more photos somewhere if you really do want them..........

that would include me. I'm planning on building 15098, the Brentwood shunter, in BR condition. I posted a drawing elsewhere in this forum, a few weeks ago. I'd more or less finished the CAD, then all these lovely photos started appearing, and I'm adding a few more details.

Geoff,

I had completely missed that thread :-(

Have attached origonal sketches (well, a scan of a photocopy....), not too clear as I said earlier.

They were done on a bitterly cold day at Butterley and the fingers (and brain) weren't working too well so hopefully they will make some sense.

Brentwood shunter "Peggy" was my first choice as well but 1930's condition.

Rob

Edit:- the figures doodled in red are in mm for 7mm scale
