This shows the inside which has quite a bit of work in it but the floor is wrong I only found photos after I'd finished it I have some others that I'll dig out and show even though they are wrong as well.I did actually make up some new floors for the next batch based on the drawing and photos that I found

Hi here's a photo of the inside and as you can see they are wrong if you compare them to photos as I mentioned I did actually make new floors for the rest of them but they seem to have disappeared .If you compare the floor that's supplied with the kit with the drawing it seems to be wrong but then maybe I am;)

John,

Just caught up with your build. Very nice to. I have built a few of these kits over the years, the last one in S7 and the floor of the kit is not correct, as you say. I was lucky, as volunteer at Locomotion I was able to take some pictures of the preserved example and modify the last few. I mentioned this to Rob Pulham last year at one of our meetings and he posted some of his pictures on his Flickr site (see above - pages 6 & 7). Don't know where you live John, but if it is anywhere near Shildon we are having a NE Area S7 meeting at Locomotion on Sunday Jan 24th from about 10:30 and you would be more than welcome.

I've only just seen your hopper wagons for the first time today too John.

I really love the subtle weathering you've achieved - really brings it to life !!

Cheers

Hi John,

This recent interest has put the thread to the top, which is great news as I missed it first time round. I do love these wagons and have been lucky enough to see one in the flesh. It would be nice to see you do a bit more on the others John, no pressure though:thumbs:

Is this the drawing you're referring to, John?
Can't remember if I sent you a high resolution copy or not. If you have another drawing I'd be pleased to see it.
Tony
