Wow! Every now and then a layout appears that makes you really stop and stare. This is one of them. Please tell me it will be exhibited publicly somewhere so I can stop and stare at it for real?

I couldn't agree more! I'd love to see this in the flesh.

Only rarely does a layout come along which you don't want to end, if you know what I mean. This is one of them. Congratulations on a superb piece of atmospheric modelling. Couldn't be anywhere else but the Southern, could it?

Thanks all. The shoppers and man looking to the timetable are Bachmann but I have repainted them as their paint jobs are hit and miss, the other 2 and guard are Dart. It will be at Shenfield 20/09/14 http://offtherails.x10.mx/memrc/exhib.html other invites will be considered (DEMU is very likely if the invite stands, the invite was oddly based on seeing very little) really not sure how that works but we never exhibited before (did I mention I am DREADING this one lol) but we don't want to do many and certainly none of a great distance.

Shenfield....not too far from you Heather :)

That couple in the first photo clearly get about as I have them on my layout walking down Margery Street in central London - maybe they were on their way home after a shopping trip?
Superb layout and please do accept the DEMU invite.

Simply because what was shown looks very good, and one of the main aims of the demu show is to bring good new d&e layouts under one roof.

Hi Tom. Sincerely appreciate that but what was on show until very recently was just so little of it. The invite is appreciated though and pretty sure we will do this, it is "our thang" after all. Notice also it's double venue 2015...nice (but then I remember Burton Town Hall not being hooj and with Calcutta on show....;))

Hi CWD,

2015 is demu's anniversary show hence the 2 sites. There will be exciting new layouts (hopefully yours being one of them), demonstrations, and all the trimmings, as well as some old demu show favourites coming out of retirement for a one-off display. And the Saturday eve' entertainment will be bigger than ever seeing as we've got the national brewery centre at our disposal :)

Cheers

Ah the 25th that explains the 2 sites. I think it's a goer for us, it was partially dependent on Matt's working pattern but this seems ok now.
