Yes it started out as a metal smith curved top turn table, Paul and I managed to get hold of the drawings for the flat top variety that was correct for Ranelagh Bridge. Paul did an excellent job off rebuilding it including much scratch building or parts including the whole of the locking gear. I spent ages trying to figure out what the cast signs said and had then etched up. Of course you need to be with in a few inches to read them and to see the turn table in it entirety you need to be 6 foot away!! Still I know what they say.
The only thing wrong with the turn table is its to narrow ( the flat top was wider than the curved top ) but it certainly does not detract from the finished model at all.
