Scaleone32 On Facebook

Egged on by the guv and his complete mastery of all things technical, he/we/I have set up a Facebook page to promote ScaleOne32.

It is at:

http://www.facebook.com/pages/ScaleOne32/361386847262319

We've already had one fairly distinguished visitor drop by.

This will hopefully be some sort of precursor to setting up a society in the future.

Feel free to like, comment on, join in, etc, - this whole Facebook thing still feels a bit odd to me.

On my personal page I seem to be endlessly bombarded with random thoughts and impenetrable musical tastes of the younger reaches of the extended Castens family, "da yoof" - quite extraordinary....

Aren't there enough people on here and the Yahoo group already to provide sufficient numbers to create a society? Wouldn't the efforts be better focussed on this place, with a link from Facebook to drive people here?

Just a thought, but in trying to reach out, one must also be wary of spreading the resources too thinly.

The main purpose is to use it as a landing page which can be used to point people to other resources, it is also very easy to update. Simons current pages are a little buried in the shop site, and they take more effort to keep up to date, this should be easier.

Also it allows a degree of participation and interaction, irrespective of whether a society gets set up or not.

Cynric's quite right about my 1/32 pages being a bit buried:oops:

Hopefully it will point in this direction too, I'm sure Cynric's got a "cunning plan" or two up his sleeve.

Hope you aren't getting too rained on down there Cynric - seen many D63-ers yet?:)):)):(

Ah, I see.
And I understand.

I now need to lie down.
