I haven't seen another thread advertising this show so please excuse me if there is one.
Among many other attractions 2FS is again being represented at the Steam Museum, Swindon this coming weekend (9th & 10th Sept) with Modbury, Llangerisech and Callaton all being present. This is Modbury's first public outing so I hope it behaves itself.

It will also be the first outing of Chapel en le Frith in 00. Built by Leeds MRS it has taken a loooooong time to be completed but is well worth a look.

It will be at Leeds show at the end of October and at Warley NEC.

Just got home from this exhibition. Most of the layouts on view were of a very impressive standard representing a large range of scales and gauges as you can tell from the posts above! It was good to see old friends and put faces to names. With Telford fresh in the mind, I'd go so far as to say that the 7mm scale layouts - there are 10 in total plus the test track - provided a much better display than Guildex.

It was also nice to see the operators of the lovely S7 layout 'Ellerton Road' encouraging youngsters (and sometimes their parents!) to drive a loco - some possibly doing so for the first time.

Bumped into Adrian Swain who is trying to sell his business but so far no-one has come forward to buy the entire ensemble. Lots of 'cherry-picking' enquiries but, understandably, he's not interested in those.

It's still on tomorrow so you might want to pay a visit!
