Just trying to bring some sense to the scene.

The BAG of the 2mmAssoc has plans to build a layout set somewhere just north of Hardy country and including a meld from different aspects of the LSWR line to the west. So there is Battledown Bridge and Worting Junction to give a routing at the east end of the layout (RHS) with the lines running on arches which remind visitors of inner London routes, then there is a through station from somewhere in the Yeovil area with an adjacent steel terminal which looks remarkably like that on the site of Swindon steam running shed, and finally, possibly, diverting routes for Exeter and Bath which comes from just west of Salisbury.

Whilst the total length of this layout is going to be around about 40 feet the joins between the fiddle yards (to the west and to the east) and the scenic sections have been arranged so that there are at least three optional lengths for the layout.

My involvement is that of trackwork, baseboards, wiring and servo installation - nothing to do with the stock thank you.

The first four scenic boards, each 4' in length, were shown as an end to end four track main line layout at the club Open Day last October. For our next Open Day in April this year we are expecting to have 180 degree sections at each end of the four scenic boards with a fiddle yard between the two end curves. One through road and two loops for each of the four tracks through Worting Junction gives roughly 30' of storage for each of the main line roads.
