The Blue Brigade - Last Stand

Right then you lot, time to nail your colours to the mast! Excuse the lunacy but this is a lunacy thread just for fun and DEFINITELY not to be taken seriously :)

I want ALL the rank and file to report in and declare their allegiance. And none of those Green Dervishers or Kettle Benders in here either, bloody Johnny Foreigners! We excel at talking tactics, drinking tea, having tiffin and generally running away bravely (unless it means fighting the green scourge) :D

Our proud motto to which we aspire:

We shall model on to the end, we shall model in blue,
We shall model on the sidings and platforms,
We shall model with growing confidence and growing quantities of blue because it’s fair,
We shall defend our baseboards, whatever the cost may be
We shall model on the workbenches,
We shall model on the dining tables,
We shall model in the gardens and in the sheds,
We shall model in the garages,
We shall never surrender!

To date we have the brigade commanded by Colonel Iploffy, NOYFB, WNKR with Bar, who served in the trenches with the 2nd Battalion Dudley Port Morris Dancers.

The 2IC (2nd in command (not 2 inch c....) is Sgt Marsa of 664 Sqn affectionately known as 'The Neighbour of the Beast' :p

We then have the following front line elements;

1st Battalion the Derbyshire Lancer (On occasion a TA unit. That's TA as in Totally Arseholed)
2nd Soo Uprising
2nd Armoured Workshops (Royal Hydraulic Plumbers)
Queens Own Speedlink Distribution
40th Derbyshire Battalion 126th Foot in Mouth
2nd Battalion East Hertfordshire Hussars
Royal Regiment the Wakefield Regulars
55th Trinovantes Paxmana
22nd Surrey/Hants Borderers

Reserve elements include;

1st Prussian Irregulars (Bath Bodgerers)

Allied units;

South Georgia Irregulars (Dunklemeyer Dunkers)
3rd Battalion The Wirral Ever Ready Power Squadron (TWERPS)

Once all remaining elements have reported in then the list shall be dutifully updated. Front and centre you Blue boyos!

Please join in and be as silly as you like :thumbs:

I must be the Prussian (blue) irregulars I guess, although I'm very partial to a bit of French too:eek:

G'night!

The Green Regiment doesn't have identifiable units, like you Blue Fancies. We are guerillas that strike hard, fast and silently in the night (providing we have been left a key to get back in).

What I can tell you is what has already been made public, whether you decide to believe the rumours is up to you.
Whisker Two Zero is a local counter-insurgency, while Desert Cats (Lion Group) is a long range reconnaissance unit.

You see, I came in, deposited my load and left. And none of you saw me coming.

We always go in fully loaded and never fail to drop our payload!

We are pioneers that blaze the trail that you Blue Fancies are lucky enough to tread. We stand firm in front while you follow up from behind. We are Green in colour but you Blues are green in envy. God Save The Green!

Sir! Need to report Greeny Weenies massing at the barricades at the back of the class Sir! We've got the 1st BYL and 14th JT holding firm Sir. The enemy are trying to deploy some new fangled unit but hard to see from out the fire escape sir! Think it says 'SteveO Colas Rail'! Could be why the others are all green, they get sick from looking at it. Very pretty though Sir and there appears to be s**t loads of fumes coming off it. Methinks they're deploying mustard gas! :eek:

And who missed the pot in the night? There's :shit: everywhere!

Mornin Sah!,

Battery Sergeant Cole of 3rd Battalion The Wirral Ever Ready Power Squadron (TWERPS) reporting for duty.

I apply for membership on the grounds of true (essential) WT scattergun style modelling periods and the BLUE in my avatar - one day I will build at least one Sandite 121 and that will be predominately blue, but in the meantime, I'll stick with my pannier kettle and wait for that nice Mr Waterman to bring out his 22.

Sah!

Private Brunswick Green is to be commended for his actions which led to the defeat of the blue meanies. Whilst they were smoking their kippers and trying to work out how to fire their arrows of indecision he sneaked into their paint shop and added yellow to the corperate blue paint vats:D:))
