TurboCAD for Mac - questions and queries

QCAD trial software is available free, but if you want to end up using it properly the ‘Pro’ licence is €33. I’ve done a very quick trial importing one of my TurboCAD drawings in Dxf, and was faced with the problem/PITA of removing all the etch lines one by one. It probably wouldn’t take too long to master the app itself, and Adrian has done some good videos to help one start. But the ‘so what’ I’m starting to form is that the Fill option in TurboCAD is probably the same as that in QCAD so I’m going to persevere with the former a little longer and submit a design with the shapes filled, not hatched. I’m actually finding TurboCAD quite good in every other respect, so feel disinclined to learn a completely new methodology (I wonder how soon it’ll be before I end up eating those words....?
