oooohhhhhhh yes we do
It's not that bad. I haven't done any of this for a few years -
We used to get called out when the snow ploughs couldn't cope!
Just a little snow in sunny Suffolk.
View up the drive and of the family...
STAY AWAY FROM THE FOG.
SIX MUST DIE.
Sorry, I came over all Jamie-Lee Curtis there... (I wish!)
Some of those pikkies remind me of "War of the Worlds".
Still no snow in Windsor
Just finished breakfast, nothing to do except visit WalMart to buy crap. The weather has changed to low seventies and I should be fishing........
Watching the Walmartians could fill an hour or so. What should you be fishing for?
Well... Took me 5 1/2 hours to get to Cumbria on friday, to find NO SNOW all weekend in Whitehaven. Took us 3 1/2 hrs to get back.
Whitehaven harbour today 10.30am
Just looked at tommorow's forecast for the South West -remaining largely dry with clear spells, though the odd light sleet or snow flurry cannot be ruled out. Strong easterly winds.
Something to brighten my return.
The BBC weather forecast for the west of Basing is up and down all week, snow then no-snow, followed by more snow and then no more snow...
Forecast temperature for today was 2 degrees above freezing... the icicles on the gutters do not have broadband and do not care about the forecast . Wind is rather strong and north-easterly, so windchill factor is quite high - none of which helped with today's task of re-building a Vauxhall Corsa which had blown a head gasket . Everything was so cold to hold... progress was really slow... 20 minutes work and then 10 minutes for a tea break . Three hours plus to do the job was pure hell .
Do I mind? One is bad enough, there is another car in the garage yard with the same malady!
regards, Barking (good thing that British Gas installed central heating in the kennel last week).
