Thanks for that Phill .I used brass tube soldered to the outside of each rail & brass rod as a bolt, no wires what so ever & worked fine......if you look through my old layout thread it's in there somewhere
Hi westernfan,
I just spend an enjoyable hour reading through your thread... excellent modelling all round!
I particularly like the later n gauge work and, as someone else said above, each version of the end to end layout is an improvement on the last. If you don't mind, can I ask the dimensions of the mk4 terminus?
Many thanks and keep the updates coming.
David
These overbridges are becoming quite a "signature" of your work! Very effective they are, too.
Thanks for that Phill .
Hi David thanks for your kind comments re my mk4 terminus ,it measured 6ft long by 11ins wide

Ah, I'm too late with a name suggestion I see
I'd have called it "Futers Street". I can see a lot of Ian Futers' style (quite probably totally accidentally) there, such as the 3-point track plan, & the general backscene and overbridge arrangements. I hope that sounds as complimentary as I mean it!
Superb work & progress - in the time you've done this, I've managed to lay a few more feet of track... (although that is hand laying, 1 spike at a time... )
