7mm WR locos in modern coarse scale at Nevermoor.

Nevermoor is a layout under construction which will 'exercise' several BR (W) locos in both coarse and fine scale. I am not a builder so rely entirely on commercial rtr. Here are some examples of coarse scale items which will be in use. I hope a few pictures of the type of material currently available may be of interest. They are shown in the setting of my old layout, Neverwood, with which some of you may be familiar.

A view of the driving end of the coach - the Basset Lowke type coupling has since been replaced with a screw link pattern.

An ETS manufactured ex GWR railcar. Presently awaiting fitting of screw couplings following removal of the B/L type fitted as standard on these items.

An Ace Trains 61xx - a popular model amongst coarse scale operators and this was offered at a 'knock-down' price to me long before the Heljan option was available. It suited my system and thus could not be missed. Once again, to B/L couplings have been replaced by screw link couplings since the photograph was taken.

There are other, larger locos available in modern coarse scale - I like them, too, but there just isn't room to operate them on the mini-layout that I have room for - never mind,.

Roger.
