I'm thinking of re cluttering the Wife's workbench with a modern (well was) G1 DMU build for the great outdoors and it will mean the use of bespoke brass etch sides, unless I go for laser cut plastic!
I'm only pondering the idea at the moment and have never attempted anything like it so info is sought. My question is: What thickness of brass is the norm or average for G1, O gauge coaches or DMU's?
