Very fetching sweater Marcel has on. Lovely work as ever - I must do some more work on my Italian stock; I've just had some wheels delivered...

Like that lots. It did make me wonder about sounding the horn each time the loco sets off. It's something that I see on preserved railways, when I used to volunteer on the Corris and watching the Talyllyn here in Tywyn, but does/did it happen in France? Back in the seventies my first job was as an apprentice at York Carriage Works. I'm pretty sure that shunt moves weren't audibly signalled, many were by winch which had no provision for warnings. You had to be on your toes, even after dinners spent in The Fox, The Loco or the Little Coach.

Thank you for all the kind comments and likes.

Not quite finished but respectable enough for a preview - a fourgon from EPM Productions:

Morning Chris.
I do enjoy your updates and I have to say they are eagerly awaited.

This looks lovely. Nicely weathered. Just right.

Stick with it. Weathering is a good thing. Frustrating at times but good to do. You learn something every time you have a go and that can't be bad.

Rob.
