if I use a quote from a previous posting, then compose my answer and then 'alt S' I get an error message come up saying ' not a valid post' but the message is in fact posted - is this anything to worry about Doctor?

I dont know I cant do that Alt S opens up my browser history

I have just continued to use Alt-s from the last forum for posting - should we not be using that now?

I dont think it is a defined shortcut, so the short answer would be no
