The 4mm goods shed is basically PPC light brick red (in cellulose) with PPC Dirty Black brushed into the cement courses and wiped off. Grey cement did not look right. Seeing as this side of the building will be up against the mainline, I painted window frames brown instead of cream...
The real shed at Ruabon was timber-built and very dowdy so I'm afraid my model is gaudy in comparison. The additional row of bricks under the overhang show up well. The Engineering blue brick shade is by PPC.
The interior is light and dark stone, a nod to the GWR...
The door leads to the office extension...
Positioned roughly where it will go on the layout. The yard layout allows for small tank locomotives to pass through the shed.....
