Hi there its been an awfully long time since I posted on WT. Here's what I've been up to up in the loft. I decided to call my layout Pudham many years ago as it has been a long standing joke that I'd never get around to making anything. Pudhams theme is somewhere on the ex LSWR in the 60's.. A lot of modellers licenses are required as I have a multitude of stock from ex GWR tanks with an autocoach to Western region hydraulics and Mk1 stock.
Build started about a year ago with baseboards but since lockdown I've laid track and wired up most of the layout. The scenic sections are about 18' in total then there's a 3 road traverser to add on for a fiddle yard. (I haven't built this yet) Here's a few pics anyway any thoughts/feedback appreciated. Ross.

All the buildings for Pudham are LCUT.
I've built most of them over the summer just gone. Great thing is they are modular so you can pretty much make anything you want. I picked different windows to the normal ones that come with their kits. The goods shed and engine shed were ordered in component parts so I could have them to my own spec. The signal box is based on the Ex LSWR box at Wool. Ross

Welcome back Ross, looks like plenty of progress there.

Cheers Jordan, I've been busy. Inherited the baseboards from a bus driver who I built an N gauge layout for. I added to them to make them longer, strengthening them by adding 10mm plywood to the sides and cutting contours into them with a jigsaw.

20210114_104933.jpg 20210114_104940.jpg Got some more 15pin D sub connectors in the post today so I can get the wiring done now. The points and all the isolating sections are wired. The signals are the next job. Want to get the AC railbus done too and I'm also fitting a Darstaed light bar to a Dapol Autocoach, its from a BG of Rob (Lancer) that he let me remove as him and Phill are on Battery power now. Much to do!!!! :headbang::rant:

Ross.....;)

Just another quick one as I must get on. I'm using DC but its a PWM controller made by a British firm call BlueRailways (not to be confused with BlueRail) its track powered but can be remotely driven by a Bluetooth remote or on your smartphone or tablet. Don't look at my panel its scary  :)
Also here's a signal I'm making (need 2) they'll be placed where the wire comes up thro the boards and the other next to it on the adjacent line where the hole is.

Got all the wiring done under the boards this weekend. The signal wires are all temporarily sticking up thro the boards. I'll connect them up as I go along.

Bit more progress with the signalling.
Made some little boards with resistors in for the ground signals and main signals. Also made a feather last night too. Need to take a picture of the route indicator (feather) admit the circuit boards don't make very interesting viewing.

Bit more progress with the signals today.
Put one of the old Seven Signals 2 aspect signals together. It's not quite finished yet. They don't make this range now the company is now called Routemex, their new kits are multimedia and look a lot easier to assemble.
