Railtec Class 37 "handpainted" numbers

I recently commissioned Railtec Steve to replicate the handpainted numbers originally applied to 37/4 large logo blue.
We had some great shots of the digits, plus information from the lads at Bo'ness SRPS Diesel group on sizes from original drawings.

This is the end result applied to my DJH Class 37 402 "Oor Wullie"

I have seen many 37/4s built well but wearing numbers far too large for the era and I know why as one transfer maker did not know of the smaller size required.
In O gauge the original numbers should be 8mm high.

I am sure Railtec will be delighted to help you with similar transfers. We have done 37401, 37402, 37403(in development) and 37408 ready to go on JLTRT builds.

I am working on some other 37/4 bits for Pete W and Laurie to look at after Telford to help with builds of 37/4 as I have been helping out, albeit in a very small way, restoring 37403 at Bo'ness.
