It was the derogatory reference to Nottingham that provoked the thought. I would have thought that an offbeat and irrelevant comment would have been right up your street, Graham!

And what was wrong with the off-beat and irrelevant comment in response?

Mind you, most of my comments are off-beat and irrelevant... except those which are:-

a) so off-beat as to be over the head of the FS;
b) so far left-field (thank you Adrian B) as to be unfathomable to Einstein, Heisenberg, Schrodinger and Everett;

The rest are totally relevant... rather like those questions beloved by Foyle which command a response.

Yes, they clame it's the steepest in the country at 1 in 13.
I think the Foxfield has the same at the colliery end.
