Worcester Locomotive Works
The origins of the Worcester locomotive works date back to the Oxford, Worcester & Wolverhampton Railway. The Locomotive Superintendent established a workshop north of Shrub Hill station and the GWR acquired these facilities following amalgamation with the OW&W (West Midland Railway).
