Sounds good John and if you have Mr.Osbourne's support you should be fine. If you need any information please ask, but there's not much about open cattle wagons!

Hi Mike have you got a photo or drawing of the 7ton wagon as I just need to have a look at the details on the sole bar. The first wagon is the 10 ton version

Hi the ten ton wagon has had a light coat of paint and has revealed some bits that need a bit of cleaning up .Almost there ,even for such a small ordinary wagon there is a surprising amount of small detail

No. I can't thin of a photo which is definitely a 7ton version, sorry. Suspect there will be some in backgrounds but none come to mind. But we know differences between 7ton and 10ton versions of other wagons and I can't see why these would be different.

The second D12 timber truck is almost done and I have managed to get much finer detail on the sole bar compared to the first wagon quite pleased really

I've stated to weather the first wagon .We all have our own way of doing this and whether I have got it right or not is probably a matter of opinion .I do each plank separately so that I hopefully keep that separate plank look .I once worked in a guys house who worked on stage sets in the London theatre's and he showed me some examples of his work his opinion was that there is what is realistic and what people expect to see

Hopefully you can see that buy using a clean brush I have dulled the colour down which I think is getting closer to where I want it to be
