Yelverton - the accomodation bridge

This is my model of the accommodation bridge at the northern end of Yelverton station.

The basic sides are from 1mm grey board, laser cut for me by Colin Farrant of Charlie Foxtrot models of Trehunist near Liskeard.

The basic sides were detailed with Plastruct angle to represent the girder construction.

Scalelink etched mesh was superglued to the reverse of the sides.

The bridge deck on the prototype is planked. On the model I made up a sandwich of two sheets of Slaters planked plasticard, with a sheet of 20 thou in between.. The deck was painted, and the sides fixed to it with
superglue.

The bridge abutments are from Wills coarse stone sheets. The model was painted with Mig colours.
