    Among 4mm exhibition layouts, 'Petherick' is widely regarded as the best example currently on the circuit. Recent alterations, additions and improvements have brought it, at last, to completion and here the builder, Barry Norman, describes it in full for the first time.

  • No. 1 Shop: Rebuilding the Portescap Gearbox

    Somebody else's Christmas present - a Portescap motor - gave Mike Williams the opportunity to rebuild the gearbox to suit a particularly pressing need. He threw away the guarantee, thought of all those who had tried it before (successful and otherwise) and discusses his findings here.
