  • Maidstone Road

    Les Darbyshire

    p.90

    4mm/EM

Incurably infected with the Light Railway bug, Les Darbyshire has spent over 30 years bringing an imaginary corner of Colonel Stephens' quaint empire to miniature life in 4mm/EM. The layout, now in its third incarnation, has long been an exhibition favourite and appears at IMREX with many original features intact - including a 36 year-old locomotive!

Based on a hybrid of Rolvenden and Tenterden on the Kent & East Sussex Railway.
