and there was me thinking of me, me, me, and yes it was I with the scaffold of doom, HOWEVER, pasta is no longer on the menu, and Florist wire is......... along with 6 brand new still in the box bachmann tennament blocks.... stuck in 1969...... and an accord with a local shop keeper, selling local dapol westerns, to a local punter, to weather and detail at cost..... whoopee....... boards due in a few weeks, track plan produced on a cad package, but I cant upload an autocad file to whet the appetite. so, following on from the newport show today...........
Who wants to buy a bachmann dynamis, only one frustrated owner.? ( and a lot of dis appointed onlookers.....)

I just thought it was utterly fantastic, and 'yah-boo-sucks' to the person who didn't like it!!

In the end we resorted to diverting attention away from the scaffold by subliminal methods, such as ................DSC_2426.jpg............ a dose of "Wild" Western Thunder !

IIRC it was just one person took exception to the scaffold. As a professional scaffolder he saw all the (apparent) faults in it, and completely failed to appreciate it as a piece of superb modelling patience & endeavour, regardless of how accurate or otherwise it was...:rolleyes:

Sorry, but I am not the most communicative of soles, and I have been a bit busy of late,
as this is still MY..... me,me,me i offer the following as a quick brief update on all things 4mm.
My Lease on current flat terminates on weekend of 10th Dec 2012.:( so the long put off move into new digs for Christmas is iminent.:confused: the destination of choice has limited space, and Sanatorium, road, and Castle works, just wont fit, :mad: but on a positive note....... The boards for Ranelagh bridge are being delivered the following week,
and Chris Nevard is coming to take pictures of Sanatorium road.
the land lady, hereby to be refered to as Mrs, Rigsby, has volenteered her kitchen for the photo shoot.:))
the up side is she is absolutely stunning.......;)

Oh, and I cant exchange the Dynamis, I can send it back for an economical repair at my expense.:rant: but I did get to play with a Prodigy at the Newport show and what a releif...... corded DCC here we come.

That's a superb piece of modelling, whatever the technicalities are that upset a scaffolder (!?!!) it convinces me and it's not something that I think I've ever seen modelled before. Apart perhaps from a 1970s Faller kit and that didn't look at all right - all Germanic plastic and in a funny scale to boot.

Cor, think of all the potential for Auf Wiedersehen Pet type jokes:rolleyes:
