Nice one!!.....cracking engine but am not too enamored with the valve gear .....no sense of adventure me....

No reason why skirts would not have been fitted to one of these Corpet-Louvet engines In fact it would make perfect sense given the use of a tram on your line!

This may well be the third 'tram' on the line, at present I'm working on number 2 which is based on this.......



......sort of a cut-down 'streamlined' tram..........

Just a shame the chassis isn't one of the parts available.

I had a sort out very recently of the railway bookshelves, and found a book I bought about 5 years ago but never opened until today. How appropriate:

Minor Railways of France by WJK Davies, published by Plateway Press.

An excellent overview of all the narrow gauge and minor std gauge public railways, what a great read!
